Pain

I had my best 4-year old friend with me in the car for a bit yesterday. I'm going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment and it was obvious to her. As we drove along, her lilting voice peeped up from the back seat said, "Ms. P, God can see right through your skin."
*****
Psalm 34
I will extol the Lord at all times,
his praise will always be on my lips.
My soul will boast in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the Lord with me;
let us exalt his name together.
*****
God is so awesome. And He can see right through my skin.

Very sweet, and nice reminder.

I'm sorry you're going through a rough time. I hope I still get a chance to meet you this next weekend...

Sorry to hear you are in a rough patch, Grace. I hope all starts looking up soon--I'm sure it will!

My best wishes, Grace. That was a lovely psalm. I wish I knew more of the Bible so I could quote like that. Keep your chin up girl; it'll all be alright. We're here for you (even though we're miles away from each other), and God's there for you too.

Love,
Jay

Christine: Thanks so much. I'm still looking forward to meeting you! :)

Brady: What Satan means for evil, God means for good. It will look up at some point, of that, I'm assured! I do appreciate your continued prayers.

Jay: I wish I'd quoted it from memory Jay...I'd been praying and ask God for a word...and He gave that to me. I "knew" to look for a Psalm and opened directly to it. Yep...He's here all right, in a mighty way. The battle is raging. Love ya much!
